About Us

Implement concrete measures to alleviate poverty and meet the essential needs of the most vulnerable.

Mission grâce de Christ

The suffering that befalls humanity does not leave anyone indifferent. It is so numerous that it would be difficult to eradicate it once and for all. However, we can at least work to alleviate the suffering of those who are bowed down by the weight of misery to the point of being deprived of the most basic needs. Being aware of this without taking action is meaningless. Therefore, concrete actions are necessary to address the issue of suffering that plagues human life.
Many people think of a better life after death without realizing that this does not mean life on earth must be characterized by an inhumane existence. If that were the case, Christ would not have come into this world to announce the glory to come while engaging in social work. Indeed, he fed some, restored others, and helped those who were afflicted. The apostle James defines true religion as follows: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
This call to active compassion is the guiding principle behind every one of our interventions. We believe that faith must translate into tangible solidarity, capable of transforming the daily lives of those who have lost everything. By offering material and moral support, we are not merely relieving temporary pain; we are working to restore human dignity where it has been trampled by poverty.
Our commitment is therefore a direct response to this mandate of love and service. By joining forces, we turn indifference into hope and distress into a path toward a more dignified life. It is by reaching out to the most vulnerable that we manifest, here and now, the reality of a more just and fraternal world.

History

Frebruary 1986

The removal of Jean-Claude “Baby Doc” Duvalier in 1986, although he was a repressive and corrupt dictator, created a massive power vacuum that plunged Haiti into a decade of chaos. In the absence of a clear successor or stable institutions, the country sank into a relentless succession of military coups and short-lived provisional governments. This instability fostered systemic human rights violations by paramilitary groups and triggered crushing international sanctions. These ultimately devastated the economy, paving the way for the migration crises and political fragility of the late 20th century.

January 2010

The earthquake was much more than a natural disaster; it was a true institutional collapse. Indeed, the disappearance of these pillars hindered reconstruction for more than a decade, leaving a government powerless in the face of gang violence and political instability.

March 2023

After hearing countless pleas for help from Haitians and witnessing the blatant corruption of many who claimed to assist the country, Jean-Max resolved to create the MGC. He aspired to establish a transparent alternative that bypasses existing dysfunctional systems, directly benefiting those who need it most.
